    The Maghreb Centre for Research and Translation is pleased to announce a conference on the future of the political movement in Tunisia, to be held on Saturday March 3rd, 2001 at Birkbeck College (University of London). The Speakers at the conference will include Dr Mohammad Mou\u2019ada the leader of the Democratic Socialist Movement (MDS), Ameur La\u2019rayeth, president of an-Nahdha\u2019s political bureau and several other human rights activists<\/font>. <\/font><\/p>\n

    RSF a publi\u00e9 une info se rapportant \u00e0 une nouvelle agression \u00e0 Tunis: en pleine avenue Habib Bourguiba, Mohseni Lumumba, collaborateur de la revue \u00ab\u00a0Kaws el Karama\u00a0\u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 agress\u00e9, le 27 f\u00e9vrier 2001, par des policiers en civil. battu, menac\u00e9, qualifi\u00e9 de traitre, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9l\u00e9st\u00e9 de ses papiers.<\/p>\n

    La f\u00e9d\u00e9ration des clubs de Cin\u00e9ma (FTCC) sous tutelle du Minist\u00e8re de la Culture avait obtenu le OK de la tutelle pour l’organisation d’une semaine annuelle de rencontres cin\u00e9matographiques proposant films et d\u00e9bats. Le th\u00e8me de cette ann\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0La Paix\u00a0\u00bb avec \u00e0 l’affiche des films comme \u00ab\u00a0Rosetta\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Freedom\u00a0\u00bb, El Kalaa\u00a0\u00bb etc.. et un film sur un caricaturiste palestinien assassin\u00e9 : Naji Ali.
    Le d\u00e9bat de ce film a \u00e9t\u00e9 interdit par Taoufik Bououne, lui-m\u00eame, le super-flic d\u00e9nomm\u00e9 d\u00e9sormais \u00ab\u00a0Bououne El Mout\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Bououne la mort\u00a0\u00bb. Ce n’\u00e9tait qu’un d\u00e9but puisqu’il a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis fin \u00e0 la semaine qui aurait d\u00fb se poursuivre jusqu’au samedi 3 mars.<\/p>\n

    On sait bien que la culture et le d\u00e9bat sont trop instructifs! En Tunisie, traitement de cheval ou d’\u00e2ne, c’est selon, on ne doit fabriquer que des bougnouls tout juste bons \u00e0 se crever les yeux, les mains sur les Lanvin et les Lacoste dont nos ma\u00eetres raffolent et qui font le miracle \u00e9conomique
