Ce matin Lundi 25 ao\u00fbt 2008 vers 10h\u00a030 et de nouveau, deux agents civils de la police du district de Carthage sont venus chez-nous se renseigner sur mon fr\u00e8re Abdelkarim qui ne s\u2019y\u00a0 trouvait pas et leur r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 notre question \u00e9tait\u00a0:\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0nous ne l\u2019avons pas vu\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb alors qu\u2019en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ils savent tr\u00e8s bien tout ce qui concerne ses d\u00e9placements et sa pr\u00e9sence r\u00e9guli\u00e8re avec sa famille en plus des r\u00e9sidents de la cit\u00e9 petits et grands \u2026 et nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 entendu ce pr\u00e9texte ant\u00e9rieurement lors des multiples visites rendues auparavant par les m\u00eames agents ainsi que d\u2019autres groupes de la police civile \u00e0 notre domicile en vue de se renseigner \u00e0 propos de mon fr\u00e8re\u00a0, et jusqu\u2019au moment de ma r\u00e9daction\u00a0 de mon pr\u00e9sent communiqu\u00e9, ils ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 mobilis\u00e9 une voiture civile de marque Citro\u00ebn ZX avec deux agents de la police civile du district de Carthage, cette m\u00eame voiture est la m\u00eame qui campait parmi tant d\u2019autres \u00a0devant notre maison. A cet effet, moi et tous les membres de notre famille nous mettons en garde quand \u00e0 la r\u00e9cidive et \u00e0 l\u2019insistance au renouvellement de ces harc\u00e8lements policiers en premier lieu envers mon fr\u00e8re Abdelkarim\u00a0 ainsi qu\u2019envers notre famille et nous tenons les autorit\u00e9s responsables une nouvelle fois apr\u00e8s que ces harc\u00e8lements aient eu d\u00e9j\u00e0 occasionn\u00e9 dans la pass\u00e9 la privation de mon fr\u00e8re de vivre r\u00e9ellement en paix et en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 chez son p\u00e8re et avec sa famille depuis qu\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 lib\u00e9r\u00e9 le 7 novembre 2007 , ce qui l\u2019a oblig\u00e9 \u00e0 quitter la maison et de vivre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019errement dans les rues de Tunis pendant quelques jours et nous avons \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque tenu les autorit\u00e9s tunisiennes enti\u00e8rement responsables de sa vie dans le cas o\u00f9 il serait l\u2019objet, ALLAH nous pr\u00e9serve d\u2019une gravit\u00e9 al\u00e9atoire.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Un bateau tunisien a r\u00e9cemment sauv\u00e9 en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e 22 immigr\u00e9s clandestins alg\u00e9riens qui voulaient rejoindre les c\u00f4tes italiennes \u00e0 bord d\u2019une barque, rapporte lundi le journal tunisien \u00ab\u00a0Al Ousboui\u00a0\u00bb (L\u2019Hebdomadaire). Apr\u00e8s avoir r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 les immigr\u00e9s clandestins dont la barque \u00e9tait en difficult\u00e9, ajoute le journal, les membres d\u2019\u00e9quipage ont remis les rescap\u00e9s aux autorit\u00e9s tunisiennes qui ont ouvert une enqu\u00eate \u00e0 ce sujet. Cet examen a eu lieu en mai dernier \u00e0 l\u2019ONU. Il a ajout\u00e9 qu\u2019 \u00ab il nous est difficile d\u2019admettre l\u2019argument invoqu\u00e9 par les Nations Unies de s\u00e9jour l\u00e9gal en Suisse et de repr\u00e9sentation d\u2019une ONG pour justifier de donner la parole au Conseil des droits de l\u2019homme \u00bb \u00e0 cette personne, qui n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9e formellement. Selon des sources concordantes au Palais des Nations, il s\u2019agit de Rachid Mesli, qui fait partie de la Commission Arabe des Droits Humains, avec un bureau \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve, \u00e0 qui les autorit\u00e9s helv\u00e9tiques ont fourni un permis de s\u00e9jour en r\u00e8gle, et contre qui il n\u2019existe aucune mandat d\u2019arr\u00eat d\u2019Interpol. Rachid Mesli est aussi membre de l\u2019ONG Alkarama, tr\u00e8s active aux Nations Unies, connue pour la pr\u00e9sentation de rapports accusateurs contre certains pays arabes en mati\u00e8re de droits de l\u2019homme. by Rana MoussaouiMon Despite being branded \u00ab\u00a0subversive\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0anti-Islamic\u00a0\u00bb by a top Saudi Muslim cleric, millions of viewers from Beirut to Algiers tune in up to three times a day to watch the Turkish-made soap opera, \u00ab\u00a0Noor\u00a0\u00bb, dubbed into Arabic. With his strawberry blond curls, blues eyes and engaging smile, Mohannad is setting the pulses of millions of Arab women racing in a television series critics claim is scandalising traditional Muslim values. The series tells the story of Mohannad and his equally stunning wife Noor as they wrestle to reconcile the conflicting pressures of traditional and modern worlds. \u00ab\u00a0I love it because it is as glamorous as the foreign soap operas (American and Mexican) we sometimes watch,\u00a0\u00bb said Cairo resident Safaa Abdel Hadi, a self-confessed Noor addict. \u00ab\u00a0But at the same time the family in ‘Noor’ is Muslim and they have similar traditions and customs, so we relate to them much more,\u00a0\u00bb she added. \u00ab\u00a0They are a bit like us,\u00a0\u00bb said Lebanese Christian housewife Ibtissam Issa. \u00ab\u00a0I really like their belief in tradition and their loyalty to the family.\u00a0\u00bb Noor tells the story of a young mother who abandons her family home to start a new life with her baby and the story of another woman who becomes pregnant out of wedlock — issues frowned upon in the conservative Arab world. \u00ab\u00a0We must not fool ourselves into thinking that because they are Muslim they are like us. The show reflects Western culture and problems, not our own,\u00a0\u00bb said 34-year-old Nadia Abdel Rahman of Egypt. In order to protect the sensibilities of conservative Arab and Muslim viewers, the production company, Sama, which provides the voice-over, has deleted intimate scenes considered to be \u00ab\u00a0inappropriate\u00a0\u00bb. Nevertheless Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh, head of the country’s highest religious authority, issued a fatwa against the series. He branded it \u00ab\u00a0subversive\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0anti-Islamic\u00a0\u00bb and decreed that any channel which broadcasts the series is \u00ab\u00a0an enemy of God and his Prophet\u00a0\u00bb. Ironically, the programme is aired by Saudi satellite channel MBC which last spring arranged a dinner banquet in Dubai in honour of the two main actors, prompting fans of the soap to go wild. Producers Sama also won over a wider audience by using for the voice-overs everyday Arabic, rather than the more ceremonious classical version of the language. A Syrian dialect, which appeals to viewers thanks to past popular television series, was used to dub Mohannad and Noor, known respectively in real life as Kivanc Tatlitug and Songul Oden. Tatlitug has proved such a hit with female viewers that Arab television have carried reports of that a number of jealous husbands have filed for divorce from their wives. Fatwa or not, \u00ab\u00a0Noor-mania\u00a0\u00bb is running riot. From the souks of Tunis to the markets of east Jerusalem, T-shirts bearing pictures of the glamourous couple, Mohannad and Noor, are selling like hotcakes. In the Israeli-occupied West Bank town of Nablus, several coffee shops have been renamed Noor and Mohannad in tribute to the soap’s two lovebirds, who in the original Turkish show are called Gumus and Mehmet respectively. \u00ab\u00a0I sell more than 500 photos of the stars of ‘Noor’ each day, particularly ones of Mohannad. The girls are mad about him,\u00a0\u00bb said Hussein, a Syrian street vendor near Syria’s Damascus University. A travel agency in the northern Israeli town of Nazareth has even cashed in on the phenomenon by offering trips to Turkey, which include a visit to a mansion on the banks of the Bosphoros where the series is filmed. \u00ab\u00a0Noor\u00a0\u00bb drew more viewers than the Beijing Olympics in Beirut, where cafe and restaurant owners have put up big television screens to ensure that their customers, and staff, can get their daily fix. \u00ab\u00a0Such series reflect how the lives of Arab people are torn between modern life and their traditions,\u00a0\u00bb said Lebanese sociologist Melhem Shaul, who specialises in the media. \u00ab\u00a0Somehow these shows help ease the anguish that grips us,\u00a0\u00bb Shaul added. \u00ab\u00a0Women who work but are oppressed by their husbands or male chauvinists who are forced to be on an equal footing with women, can identify with the characters.\u00a0\u00bb For Suheir Farraj, a Palestinian film director, \u00ab\u00a0Noor portrays young liberated Muslims, and viewers here seem to want to aspire to that, and that reality.\u00a0\u00bb<\/div>\n
